Middle age crazy

So why, Beemer Dreams? I never wanted one until this past year. Content with smaller VW's and Honda Civics I combined frugality, eco-consciousness, and common sense in my car purchases. They also cost less to operate and maintain. From my first automobile, and MGA, a couple of Fiats, more VW's and then into the Honda family, I carried on as a sensible and thoughtful car buyer. Then....at the tender age of 61......in a fit of madness (or clarity - they're often the same), I began ogling BMW's as if they were beautiful women. (Male brain, you understand. ). Then without warning on December 15, 2007, I drove the family Civic into my local BMW dealer and with no regrets (despite serious repercussions on the wife front), I drove out in a beautiful 2005 325i - Silver gray. Sweet. Yes t is expensive to own, but it is a joy to drive. I'll keep it. My wife fired me, but that is another story.
